Initiatory Soul Theatre

Initiatory Soul Theatre

Initiatory Soul Theatre – happening in Cape Town this weekend…

Psychophonetics is a methodology of initiatory theatre that has evolved into a form of personal development and psychotherapy without losing its intrinsic theatre nature.
It engages body awareness, gesture, movement, visualization and the sounds of human speech to explore, empower, resource internal characters and dramas â on the way to creating new ones.

Yehuda Tagar will be running a 2 day workshop using theatre work, which can deepen characterization, engage deeper resources for creation and become a source for profound new reality.
———
Theatre is where we live, though most people do not know it. We all perform without rehearsing our roles.
In Psychophonetics the performance of life is becoming conscious and a space and encouragement to rehearse new roles is given before the next performance of life.
Amazing stories live inside of us. They cannot be expressed because we only know the tips of their icebergs and there is no language for them.
Everyone is many people, mostly not knowing each other, yet all jumbled together. The inner characters we do not know â end up controlling us, like puppeteers.
Yet there lives inside of us deeper, higher, more courageous, inspired, alive, inspirited characters, full of life and spirit. We can discover, explore and become them.
We can choose which internal character will run our inner and outer show.
If we can read the existing script â we can use the same literacy for the creation of a new one.
This is Initiatory Soul Theatre.
This is a Psychology of Freedom.
This is what Psychophonetics does.
